Trying to figure out direction means listening. That seemed to be a message that came through today. Listening to what was said and what was not. It's all around us, all the time. At certain points, I felt myself in the midst of thinking about direction and what that means for me and how much listening and communication come into play.
An example of this was a session I had today where listening to the angels messages was quite simple and pure. Hearing the noises around me and being able to listen to two conversations at once seemed easy in comparison to other times of the day when it became difficult to focus on anything more than one conversation at a time. Sometimes, our messages can come about in many ways and provide us with clear, concrete direction. Other times, it leaves us open to ponder what messages we have received before proceeding. Have you had this experience?
For today and this week, I am left pondering direction. Focusing on listening has been an interesting assignment and I have a feeling this challenge may present itself in another iteration later on in 2011. We shall see, we shall see...
At least one thing is clear, the art of listening is truly one to continue to master. In our world filled with technology and in a time where everything done quicker is better, listening is something to pay close attention to in order to find true direction. Direction that lives within us, deep in our hearts.
