1/12/11 Wednesday

Flower Angel
Elvira Amrhein
I just realized that my blog posted yesterday was dated today!  AND, I forgot to post it to facebook yesterday so I did this earlier today.  FUNNY!!  The angels always have an interesting way of making sure everything happens in the right time and space....there must have been a reason that things happened this way!  In any case, THIS is my Wednesday posting!

This beautiful angel picture can be seen in my dining room.  Her lovely yet piercing look reminds me constantly to be authentic.  She somehow reminds me of a mother looking at a child who is telling a tale...as if she knows the truth but still listens to the story with the look that says it all.  I am reminded of this as we are working our way though this week of taking inventory.  This is a personal inventory based on self-discovery and truth.  Our flower angel reminds us to be authentic and honest with our strengths and items that no longer serve us that we should consider letting go of.  She is wise and loving, ever present in our lives.  If you have developed your inventory, take a look at the list.  Are there things that you should consider revising?  I will be working on my list today and with the flower angel with me, I commit to be authentic and honest in this inventory process.

Today in New England we are receiving quite a bit of snow!  My children have a snow day and my husband is working from home.  It is wonderful to have them all here...we are all home bound!  This beautiful flower angel also reminds me that the flowers will soon be back full of life and beauty around us but for now, the snow and cold is needed in this place and time.  It serves as a reminder of reflection and hope towards renewal and life.  If you are snowed in today, enjoy what this day has to offer!  And if you are not snowed in, allow this message to resonate in your being...hope and renewal is in store for you!
